RACF Mainframe Security Engineer

Location: Remote, based in Ohio (Central Ohio Region)

Salary: $70,000–$140,000 annual base salary, with eligibility for incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Deliver and sustain IAM capabilities and RACF security solutions across the bank.
• Operate and maintain RACF security engineering systems and support mainframe technologies.
• Develop and maintain cybersecurity solutions in alignment with enterprise architecture patterns.
• Lead responses to RACF-related security incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with IAM, enterprise, and application architects, vendors, and portfolio management on technology delivery and program roadmaps.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and skill development for Mainframe and Role Engineering teams.

Requirements

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience, including four additional years of experience where applicable.
• At least 6 years of information security experience.
• At least 6 years of experience gathering requirements and successfully delivering RACF security and mainframe technologies.
• Experience with IAM, access controls, security and risk management, and security governance at scale.
• Extensive knowledge of SSO, MFA, Active Directory, PKI, privileged accounts, and APIs.
• Experience with production support, cybersecurity technology design, and operational security technologies.

Nice to have

• Professional experience as a RACF Administrator.
• Experience with cloud IAM lifecycle management across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Experience implementing zSecure capabilities, including zAlert, and building RACF reports.
• Experience with SIEM reporting and dashboards for mainframe governance.
• CISSP or CISM certification.
