Specialist, Cybersecurity (Full Stack)

Location: Hybrid schedule requiring attendance two days per week on Mondays and Wednesdays in Columbus, Ohio; Des Moines, Iowa; or Scottsdale, Arizona. Remote internal associates may also be considered. The position may be filled within any of the lower 48 U.S. states.

Salary: $95,500–$177,500 gross annual national range; expected starting range of $95,500–$143,500.

What you will do

• Design, build, and operate production-grade user-facing applications and supporting services for Cyber Security Operations.
• Develop Angular frontend workflows and integrate them with Java/Spring Boot, Python, enterprise APIs, and downstream systems.
• Build reusable components, orchestration services, and application structures aligned with hirify.global AWS golden path standards.
• Integrate agentic workflows, LLM-backed capabilities, retrieval components, and human-in-the-loop experiences where appropriate.
• Implement secure authentication, authorization, secrets handling, logging, metrics, traces, and health telemetry.
• Troubleshoot application defects, integration issues, and production incidents while improving maintainability and delivery quality.

Requirements

• Strong full stack engineering experience with Angular, Java, Spring Boot, and Python.
• Experience building and maintaining production web applications, APIs, backend services, integration layers, and reusable platform patterns.
• Knowledge of frontend architecture, component design, state management, API integration, and secure application development.
• Experience with AWS-aligned enterprise delivery patterns, CI/CD, deployment controls, observability, release practices, and production support.
• At least three years of technology experience, including experience with operating systems, networking, application development, endpoint security, databases, or information security; Windows and Linux/Unix experience is expected.
• Ability to collaborate with cybersecurity, architecture, platform, operations, data, and AI engineering teams; strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience integrating applications with agentic solutions, LLM-backed services, retrieval components, or workflow automation.
• Cyber Security Operations experience.
• Experience with incident response, threat hunting, purple teaming, red teaming, MITRE ATT&CK, vulnerability management, or security detection engineering.
• Security certifications such as CISSP, CEH, GCIH, CCSP, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, or AZ-500.
• Insurance or financial services industry knowledge.
