Technician, Orbiter

Location: Skaneateles, New York, United States. Weekend Plus – Second Shift: Saturday and Sunday, 6:00 AM–6:00 PM; Monday and Tuesday, 2:55 PM–11:25 PM. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.

Salary: $40,000–$50,000 per year.

What you will do

• Operate orbiter machines used in the production of medical cuffs.
• Monitor equipment performance and adjust machines to maintain reliable operation.
• Perform cleaning, lubrication, inspections, component replacement, preventive maintenance, repairs, and corrective actions.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and resolve bottlenecks affecting production efficiency.
• Maintain repair records and equipment documentation while providing technical support and training to production personnel.
• Collaborate with production, maintenance, engineering, and quality teams on upgrades, continuous improvement, and cross-training.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in medical device or regulated manufacturing production.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, including experience diagnosing and repairing manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, diagrams, and blueprints.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Compliance with GMP, FDA, quality, environmental, health, and safety requirements.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with orbiter equipment components and repair techniques.
• Experience with maintenance management systems.
