Manufacturing Technician (MDP)

hirify.global designs, builds, and services materials engineering equipment used to manufacture semiconductor chips and advanced displays.

What you will do

• Build, repair, and test electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, and pneumatic assemblies, subassemblies, and components using work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, and parts lists.
• Perform electro-mechanical assembly, troubleshooting, repairs, and process improvements under moderate supervision.
• Receive and audit parts, verify availability, and inspect components for defects.
• Use test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors, and vacuum pumps to test assemblies and components.
• Complete job documentation and data entry, including progress, expenses, and labor details.
• Perform computer programming, equipment repairs, or software installations when required.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• 1–2 years of semiconductor or display experience, or comparable industry or military experience.
• Ability to follow written and verbal standard operating procedures.
• Knowledge of basic hand tools.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding cleanroom environment, including extended standing, confined spaces, lifting, climbing, and use of hand and power tools.
• Ability to distinguish colors and work with required personal protective equipment, noise, and heavy machinery such as forklifts.

Nice to have

• Associate’s degree, technical education, certifications, or relevant training.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills using established operating procedures or scientific methods.
• ASSEET or BSEET qualification, including DeVry or TSTC training.
