Technician (f/m/d) (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Hybrid role in Aachen, Germany, with work as part of an on-site team

What you will do

• Perform basic preventive and corrective maintenance on automated equipment and Automated Material Handling Systems (AMHS).
• Support troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, electronic and basic control-system issues.
• Monitor equipment, respond to alarms and help restore operation to minimize production downtime.
• Support equipment installation, commissioning, maintenance and upgrades with engineering teams and external vendors.
• Follow technical procedures, safety requirements and cleanroom standards.
• Maintain maintenance records, technical documentation and spare-parts information.

Requirements

• Completed or soon-to-be-completed vocational training, apprenticeship, technical diploma or equivalent qualification in mechatronics, industrial mechanics, electrical/electronic engineering or a related field.
• Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, electronic or automated systems.
• Strong technical interest and willingness to learn new equipment and technologies.
• Ability to follow technical instructions and work carefully and safely.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and, when required, at heights of up to 4 meters.
• Good German and English communication skills are required.
