Technician (f/m/d)

Location: Aachen, Germany; hybrid role with on-site work required

What you will do

• Perform basic preventive and corrective maintenance on automated equipment and Automated Material Handling Systems.
• Support troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical and basic control-system issues.
• Monitor equipment, respond to alarms and help restore operation to reduce production downtime.
• Support equipment installation, commissioning, maintenance and upgrades with engineering teams and external vendors.
• Follow technical procedures, safety requirements and cleanroom standards.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, technical documentation and spare-parts information.

Requirements

• Completed or soon-to-be-completed vocational training, apprenticeship, technical diploma or equivalent qualification in mechatronics, industrial mechanics, electrical/electronic engineering or a related field.
• Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, electronic or automated systems.
• Strong technical interest and willingness to learn new equipment and technologies.
• Ability to follow technical instructions and work carefully and safely, including in confined spaces and at heights of up to 4 meters when required.
• Good German and English communication skills are required.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
