Senior Buyer (Semiconductor)

Location: Rehovot, Israel

Global materials engineering company developing and servicing equipment used to manufacture semiconductor chips and advanced displays.

What you will do

• Manage supplier operations, including forecasts, purchase orders, finished-goods inventories, engineering change orders, obsolete materials, MRP actions, transitions, repairs, service agreements, and on-time delivery.
• Coordinate purchasing activities with planning and engineering teams to maintain inventory at planned levels.
• Lead supplier quality activities with manufacturing and engineering departments.
• Expedite materials and ensure their timely receipt.
• Resolve material-related accounting and receiving issues and drive problem resolution without formal authority.
• Provide management with supplier and material status updates, action plans, and long-term issue resolution recommendations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field; engineering education is preferred.
• 4–7 years of purchasing experience.
• Service-oriented approach and experience working with suppliers and internal customers.
• Strong negotiation, presentation, commercial, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Program management experience and the ability to work independently as part of a team.
• High-level English proficiency in writing, speaking, and reading.
