Obsolete Material Planner (Semiconductor Supply Chain)

Location: Rehovot, Israel; onsite role with 10% travel

What you will do

• Plan and manage materials for PDC manufacturing lines, including inventory, safety stock, excess and obsolete materials, finished goods, and long-lead items.
• Support material planning for NPI products, including BOM and supply-chain setup, first-tool delivery, shortage mitigation, and build-plan budgets.
• Prepare material infrastructure for serial production and manage the transition from old to new products with minimal material impact.
• Lead obsolete-material planning and task forces while preventing production stoppages.
• Manage supplier exposure, engineering changes, material responsiveness, and sourcing execution against operational KPIs.
• Coordinate with purchasing, sourcing, quality, engineering, machining, and assembly operations to support on-time delivery.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering from a recognized university.
• At least 3 years of experience in operational and planning roles.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, presentation, cooperation, and complex stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritize parallel tasks, manage timelines independently, and handle long-term planning alongside daily execution.
• Excellent English, both spoken and written.
• Experience working with SAP, Smartsheet, and internal information systems.
