Senior Product Designer (AI)

Location: Hybrid position based out of the Kansas City, Missouri office; scheduled office attendance is required.

What you will do

• Define and evolve the visual and interaction language across customer-facing websites, native apps, internal tools, and digital experiences.
• Translate brand guidelines into reusable patterns, components, templates, and documentation within the ACDS design system.
• Design end-to-end responsive web, mobile, and internal-tool experiences balancing storytelling with task-oriented utility.
• Partner with product, engineering, content, brand, analytics, and marketing teams to turn strategy and requirements into shippable interfaces.
• Prototype, conduct usability testing, and iterate based on experimentation, analytics, and client insights.
• Apply AI-assisted tools for ideation, content generation, personalization concepts, accessibility support, and prototyping.

Requirements

• 7+ years of hands-on product design experience across digital products.
• Portfolio demonstrating systems thinking, responsive web and mobile experiences, and scalable design across multiple use cases.
• Advanced Figma proficiency, including components, variants, auto-layout, constraints, shared styles, design tokens, and interactive prototyping.
• Experience creating or evolving design systems with component libraries, usage guidance, and documentation.
• Experience working cross-functionally and presenting design rationale to stakeholders.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship, now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Interaction and motion design experience, including micro-interactions and transitions.
• Strong focus on WCAG accessibility and performance.
