Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Location: Kansas City, Missouri, United States; hybrid work with scheduled office attendance required

What you will do

• Lead FP&A, accounting, controllership, treasury, tax, and financial reporting across legal entities and investment vehicles.
• Oversee finance back-office and administrative functions, including facilities, procurement, payroll, and vendor governance.
• Shape financial strategy through long-range planning, budgeting, profitability analysis, scenario modeling, and capital allocation support.
• Provide actionable reporting and financial insights to executive leadership, the Management Committee, and the Board.
• Advance AI and data transformation through automation, predictive analytics, real-time reporting, and AI-enabled decision support.
• Support regulatory, audit, M&A, strategic partnership, and new product activities while building a high-performing leadership team.

Requirements

• 15+ years of progressive financial leadership experience.
• Proven CFO or senior finance leadership experience with a strong strategic orientation.
• Deep understanding of asset management economics and experience in complex, regulated environments.
• Demonstrated experience leading AI-enabled transformation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Ability to work from the Kansas City office according to the required scheduled frequency.

Nice to have

• Experience with multi-asset, global investment platforms and multiple regulatory regimes.
• MBA or another advanced degree.
• Experience with finance systems, data architecture, AI-driven reporting, M&A, strategic investments, or business integrations.
• Strong executive presence and Board-level communication skills.
