Data Manager / Analyst

Location: Washington, District of Columbia; on-site. Some travel is required.

What you will do

• Manage, organize, clean, and maintain datasets for program reporting and analytics.
• Analyze operational, financial, and performance data to support decisions and improve effectiveness.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and streamline reporting.
• Maintain data quality, integrity, and security standards, and support data governance policies.
• Assist with SOPs, audits, evaluations, and ad hoc data requests.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, statistics, information systems, or a closely related discipline, or significant information systems experience in lieu of a degree.
• At least 4 years of relevant experience; 2 years of information systems experience may substitute for the degree requirement.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills, with the ability to manage multiple datasets and perform detailed analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and at least one data visualization tool.
• Familiarity with data governance and federal reporting requirements.
• Positive adjudication from a CBP Background Investigation is required.
