Production Technician (Manufacturing)

Location: Based in Malta; candidates must be willing and able to relocate to Malta

Salary: €24,000 minimum annually, excluding allowances, overtime, and bonuses

What you will do

• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on assigned production equipment.
• Operate and monitor equipment to maintain performance, product quality, and production schedules.
• Support engineering teams with the installation, validation, and implementation of new processes and improvements.
• Follow environmental, health, safety, and process-specific safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate digital maintenance and production records and report equipment issues and improvement opportunities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment in line with Good Manufacturing Practices.

Requirements

• MQF Level 4 qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Previous experience as a production technician or in a similar role.
• Experience with industrial manufacturing equipment and technical documentation, including blueprints, manuals, and drawings.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
• Good physical condition, attention to detail, and accuracy.

Nice to have

• Wireman License A and/or B.
