Location: Onsite in El Segundo, California, United States. Work is performed in a satellite manufacturing, integration, and test environment; overtime, weekend support, or shift flexibility may be required. Only U.S. persons authorized to access export-controlled technology may be hired.
Salary: $29–$45 per hour, depending on technician level, skills, education, experience, and performance.

What you will do
- Install and integrate satellite propulsion lines, tubing, manifolds, valves, regulators, thrusters, tanks, fittings, and support hardware.
- Assemble mechanical systems using engineering drawings, work instructions, specifications, calibrated tools, and required torque values.
- Route, install, secure, and verify electrical harnesses, connectors, clamps, tie-downs, strain relief, and support hardware.
- Support leak checks, pressure checks, continuity, resistance, insulation resistance, functional testing, troubleshooting, and rework.
- Complete work orders, travelers, inspection records, photographs, torque records, serial and lot-number records, and nonconformance documentation.
- Work with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Test, and Production teams to complete safe, accurate, and timely flight-hardware builds.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, trade school certificate, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in aerospace, satellite, aircraft, automotive, defense, or other high-reliability manufacturing.
- Experience reading engineering drawings, schematics, assembly procedures, work instructions, and specifications.
- Hands-on experience with mechanical assembly and electrical harness installation.
- Ability to use hand tools, torque wrenches, calipers, multimeters, and inspection tools.
- Ability to work onsite in El Segundo and meet U.S. work authorization and U.S.-person ITAR access requirements.
Nice to have
- Satellite or spacecraft integration experience.
- Experience with propulsion, fluid, tubing, fittings, pressure systems, harness routing, connector mating, crimping, soldering, or continuity testing.
- Familiarity with ESD, FOD, cleanroom protocols, leak checks, pressure testing, and functional testing.
- Experience with aerospace quality systems, nonconformance processes, flight-hardware traceability, and configuration control.
- IPC/WHMA-A-620 or J-STD-001 certification.
