BRCiS Project Coordinator (Kobac) National (Humanitarian project coordination): Coordinating implementation of the EU-funded KOBAC Action in Somalia with an accent on donor reporting, partner compliance, MEAL frameworks, and durable-solutions programming. Focus on consolidating multi-partner reporting, managing risks and grants, coordinating government and consortium stakeholders, and supporting monitoring missions in Jowhar and Afgoye.
Location: Mogadishu, Somalia; 40% travel required.

What you will do
- Coordinate implementation of the EU-funded KOBAC Action, including activities, budgets, documentation, work plans, and donor requirements.
- Lead donor reporting by preparing templates, maintaining reporting schedules, reviewing partner submissions, and consolidating narrative reports.
- Oversee quality control, grant and risk management, EU compliance, and partner accountability.
- Coordinate NRC, Concern Worldwide, WARDI, HIJRA, NCRDS, government institutions, and municipal authorities.
- Support MEAL framework refinement, data quality assurance, monitoring systems, research briefs, and technical capacity building.
- Organise project steering committee meetings, quarterly reviews, inter-ministerial coordination, and joint field monitoring missions.
Requirements
- Applicable bachelor's degree in international relations, business, economics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in humanitarian or development aid in complex or insecure environments.
- Experience with durable solutions or resilience programming, project development, consortium coordination, and donor frameworks.
- Strong planning, monitoring, organisational, resource mobilisation, proposal-writing, and report-writing skills.
- Excellent English communication skills, including negotiation, facilitation, public speaking, and synthesis of qualitative and quantitative data.
- Knowledge of Somalia, including Jowhar and Afgoye, plus safety and security awareness training.
