GMP Technician

Location: West Greenwich, Rhode Island, United States. Onsite Tuesday–Saturday, 11:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m.

Salary: $21.70–$23.20 per hour

What you will do

• Maintain assigned GMP areas in a clean, orderly, and controlled condition.
• Perform sanitization of walls, floors, windows, surfaces, and equipment, including wipe-downs and shutdown cleaning.
• Follow customer and SBM SOPs, safety procedures, gowning requirements, and PPE standards.
• Complete daily FN logs, work orders, punch-list items, and reports accurately.
• Respond professionally to customer requests and communicate with leads, supervisors, coworkers, managers, and customers.
• Support the shift lead and provide area coverage during staff shortages.

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment upkeep, cleaning compounds, and safe chemical use.
• Completion of required safety, task, chemical safety, and annual qualification training.
• Ability to lift or move up to 35 pounds and perform repetitive tasks.
• Must be trained and certified in correct gowning procedures for the assigned area.

Nice to have

• High school diploma or GED.
• Six months to one year of relevant experience.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification.
• Valid driver’s license or forklift certification, if required for the assignment.
