GMP Technician

Location: Manati, Puerto Rico

What you will do

• Maintain assigned areas in a clean, orderly, and GMP-controlled condition.
• Perform sanitization, including cleaning walls, floors, windows, wipe-downs, and shutdown areas.
• Follow customer and SBM SOPs, safety procedures, chemical safety requirements, and PPE protocols.
• Complete daily FN logs, work orders, punch-list items, and reports accurately.
• Support shift leads and provide area coverage during staff shortages.
• Communicate professionally with supervisors, coworkers, managers, customers, and other employees.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Six months to one year of relevant experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment maintenance, cleaning compounds, and safe chemical use.
• Completion of required safety, task, and annual qualification training, including chemical safety.
• Ability to lift or move up to 35 pounds; a valid driver's license or forklift certification may be required.

Nice to have

• CPR, AED, and First Aid certification.
• Forklift certification, when applicable to the assigned area.
