Location: On-site at the El Segundo headquarters, California, United States. Candidates must be lawfully authorized to work in the U.S. and qualify as a U.S. person for access to export-controlled technology. Relocation support is available for new hires if needed.
Salary: $110,000–$140,000 per year for E1, $120,000–$153,000 per year for E2, or $140,000–$180,000 per year for Senior Engineer, plus potential stock options and/or long-term cash awards.

develops commercial space infrastructure, including in-orbit pharmaceutical processing payloads, reentry capsules, heat shields, and satellite buses, with vehicles and equipment built, integrated, and tested in-house.
What you will do
- Own and administer the engineering systems stack, including PLM, CAD/PDM, MBSE, change management, data integrity, configuration control, vendor escalations, and release cycles.
- Map and re-engineer engineering workflows to reduce manual handoffs and improve data capture.
- Build internal low-code and custom applications together with ETL pipelines connecting engineering tools to the enterprise data layer.
- Design Power BI, SQL, and Python dashboards and reports for engineering and manufacturing decision-making.
- Build, pilot, and deploy AI-powered tools, including LLM-based agents and generative tooling for engineering workflows.
- Support AS9100 and CMMC documentation, audit readiness, user training, and adoption across engineering.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- At least 3 years of experience supporting or managing enterprise engineering applications such as PLM, CAD/PDM, MBSE, or engineering change management tools.
- Proficiency in SQL and at least one scripting or programming language, such as Python or JavaScript.
- Experience building reports and dashboards in Power BI, Tableau, or an equivalent BI platform.
- Ability to gather requirements from end users and take prototypes through production.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including system design documentation, SOPs, and training materials for non-technical engineering stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Experience administering Teamcenter, Windchill, Arena, SolidWorks PDM, or Vault.
- Knowledge of BOM structures, CAD metadata, change order workflows, aerospace engineering data standards, or MBSE toolchains such as CAMEO and Capella.
- Experience with AS9100 or CMMC compliance, ETL tools, cloud data platforms, workflow automation, or custom engineering tooling.
- ITIL, PMP, or Lean Six Sigma certification.
