Program Manager, Pharma

Location: On-site in El Segundo, California, United States

Salary: $125,000–$170,000 per year, plus potential stock options and/or long-term cash awards.

hirify.global develops commercial space infrastructure, including in-orbit pharmaceutical processing, reentry capsules, heat shields, and satellite buses.

What you will do

• Develop and track pharmaceutical program schedules, milestones, critical paths, dependencies, objectives, and scope.
• Coordinate program meetings, agendas, decisions, owners, and follow-up actions.
• Ensure deliverables meet quality, cost, and schedule expectations.
• Manage program risks and issues with technical leads, including mitigation strategies and risk registers.
• Coordinate resource allocation, cost control, status reporting, SmartSheet dashboards, and project reports.
• Act as the operational liaison to CDMOs, CROs, and contract testing laboratories on schedules, deliverables, and escalations.

Requirements

• 2+ years of program management experience and 6+ years of biopharmaceutical industry experience.
• B.S. or M.S. in life sciences, such as Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organization, collaboration, critical thinking, and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience coordinating programs, aligning stakeholders with organizational strategy, and influencing cross-functional teams without direct reports.
• Extensive experience with MS Project and/or SmartSheet.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and qualify as a U.S. person under ITAR requirements.

Nice to have

• 10+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience.
• 3+ years of program management experience and PMP or PgMP certification.
• Experience managing multiple programs and implementing change management throughout the program lifecycle.
