Technical Recruiter (Aerospace)

Location: El Segundo, California, United States (onsite)

Base salary: $100,000–$120,000 per year, plus equity.

What you will do

• Own full-cycle recruiting for engineering and hardware roles across autonomous systems, propulsion, thermal, mechanical engineering, and structures.
• Source and screen candidates through active search, referrals, passive outreach, and technical communities.
• Manage multiple searches while maintaining a strong candidate and hiring manager experience.
• Conduct recruiter screens covering technical fit, cultural alignment, and compensation expectations.
• Support offer processes and own the candidate experience through onboarding.
• Maintain candidate records in Greenhouse and contribute to sourcing and pipeline strategy.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience.
• Experience recruiting for hardware-centric or engineering-focused companies in aerospace, robotics, automotive, deep tech, or a similar field.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously.
• Curiosity about candidates’ technical work and the ability to develop technical fluency.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and qualify as a U.S. person for access to export-controlled technology.

Nice to have

• In-house or embedded recruiting experience at a hardware or deep tech company.
• Fluency explaining startup equity structures, vesting schedules, and total compensation.
• Exposure to autonomous systems, propulsion, thermal, mechanical engineering, or structures.
• Familiarity with ITAR-regulated defense or aerospace industries.
• Experience with Greenhouse or a comparable ATS, Gem, or LinkedIn Recruiter.
