Mechanical Engineer - IV (Semiconductor)

Location: Santa Clara, CA; onsite role with 10% travel. Relocation is not eligible.

Salary: $147,000–$202,500 per year.

What you will do

• Identify and troubleshoot complex mechanical problems with limited to no supervision.
• Lead or execute engineering projects, including developing key suppliers.
• Design and modify complex engineering layouts, schematics, drawings, specifications, and product specifications.
• Design and implement custom mechanical tooling, fixturing, and associated processes for handling, assembly, and disassembly of components and assemblies.
• Define, coordinate, and perform engineering tests and complex engineering analysis; generate test reports and review documentation.
• Communicate complex technical concepts with internal and external customers and influence different perspectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 7–10 years of experience.
• Subject-matter expertise with CAD software, thermodynamics, sheet metal design, material selection, manufacturing methods, GD&T, flow analysis, and/or Design for Excellence principles.
