What you will do

• Identify and troubleshoot complex mechanical problems with limited supervision.
• Lead or execute engineering projects, including key supplier development.
• Design and modify complex engineering layouts, schematics, drawings, specifications, tooling, and fixturing.
• Enable the handling, assembly, and disassembly of components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies.
• Coordinate procurement and assembly of mechanical components and equipment, identifying sources for critical parts and subsystems.
• Define and perform engineering analyses and tests, generate reports and product specifications, and communicate solutions to internal and external customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 7–10 years of relevant experience.
• Subject-matter expertise in CAD software, thermodynamics, sheet metal design, material selection, manufacturing methods, GD&T, flow analysis, and/or Design for Excellence principles.
• Ability to solve complex problems independently and communicate complex technical concepts.
