Applications Engineering Internship (Aerospace)

Location: Full-time, on-site in El Segundo, California, United States. Spring internships run from January through May, subject to the selected student’s university schedule.

Salary: $33.00 per hour. Housing stipend is available for interns relocating to the area, with a commuter benefit for local transportation.

What you will do

• Develop dashboards, reports, and metrics that surface operational data for stakeholders.
• Gather requirements from engineering, supply chain, finance, and operations users and translate them into technical solutions.
• Build and maintain integrations between enterprise platforms and support data pipelines.
• Document data sources, workflows, and integrations for ongoing maintenance and improvement.
• Support the rollout, configuration, and troubleshooting of internal applications.

Requirements

• Must be actively enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate degree program.
• Pursuing a degree in computer science, information systems, data science, engineering, or a related field.
• Applicable experience with SQL, Python, or low-code/ETL tools.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and qualify as a U.S. person for access to export-controlled technology.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to gather requirements from non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with ERP, PLM, CRM, or HRIS systems.
• Experience with Alteryx, dbt, or Power BI.
• Comfort working across data sourcing, modeling, transformation, and presentation.
