Medical Inventory Specialist (Weekends/Part-Time) (Medical Devices)

Location: On-site at UAB West in Birmingham, Alabama, United States

Base hourly pay: $15.38–$21.15.

What you will do

• Pick up and deliver medical equipment in a hospital environment.
• Provide customer service to patients, clients, and hospital staff.
• Apply hospital standards and protocols while handling equipment.
• Troubleshoot medical devices and report faulty equipment or unusual conditions.
• Document and chart data to support problem identification, quality feedback, and production scheduling.
• Participate in team activities, problem-solving sessions, and training or assisting other operators.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to walk for long periods throughout the day.
• Ability to push and pull beds weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
