Spvr Terminal Operations (Railroad)

Location: Vancouver, WA; Pasco, WA; Everett, WA; or Spokane, WA. The role requires shift, holiday, and weekend work.

Salary: $113,000 annually

What you will do

• Implement operating policies and execute the operating plan.
• Supervise TY&E employees and plan daily train and switching operations.
• Conduct operations tests and safety meetings.
• Investigate accidents and injuries.
• Monitor and control operating costs.
• Ensure compliance with safety rules, schedule agreements, equal employment policies, and government regulations.

Requirements

• Currently certified as a BNSF First Line Supervisor.
• Working knowledge of operating rules and schedule agreements for TY&E crafts.
• Leadership, organizational, and railroad operations skills.
• Strong knowledge of the TSS Xpress system.
• Motivation, self-direction, and a strong work ethic.
• Must be available for shift, holiday, and weekend work.

Nice to have

• Prior terminal or road operations experience.
• Designated Supervisor Locomotive Engineer certification.
• Previous supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, FRA, and EEO regulations.
