Manager, Data Scientist (Agentic AI)

Location: Austin, TX, United States. Travel required up to 20% of the time. Relocation eligible.

Salary: $176,000–$242,000 per year.

What you will do

• Lead the architecture, design, implementation, and deployment of Agentic AI solutions and Multi-Agent Systems for business and manufacturing challenges.
• Develop AI agents for decision intelligence, workflow automation, knowledge retrieval, and operational optimization using modern orchestration frameworks.
• Build scalable enterprise AI platforms covering agent orchestration, memory management, tool integration, RAG, knowledge graphs, ontologies, and cloud-native architecture.
• Lead proof-of-concept development, rapid prototyping, and production deployments while ensuring scalability, reliability, maintainability, and measurable business value.
• Collaborate with business leaders, product teams, engineers, data scientists, and subject matter experts to identify use cases and deliver production-grade AI solutions.
• Mentor AI engineers and data scientists while contributing to coding, architecture reviews, solution design, model development, and technical problem solving.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or Data Science.
• Recognized technical expertise in Generative AI, Agentic AI, Multi-Agent Architectures, and Enterprise AI Platforms.
• Deep expertise in LLMs, RAG, vector databases, knowledge graphs, AI orchestration frameworks, machine learning, and cloud-native architectures.
• Strong hands-on software engineering skills with Python and modern AI development frameworks.
• Ability to design scalable, production-ready AI systems across multiple technology domains.
• Ability to lead complex AI transformation initiatives, drive cross-functional teams, influence technical direction, and establish architecture and AI governance standards.
• Ability to solve complex and ambiguous business and technical problems involving reasoning, planning, orchestration, workflow automation, and knowledge-driven decision-making.
• Ability to communicate complex AI concepts to executive leadership, technical teams, and business stakeholders, build consensus, and mentor teams.

Nice to have

• 7+ years of software engineering, data science, machine learning, or AI experience.
• 3+ years building production-grade AI/ML solutions using Python.
• 3+ years developing Generative AI, Agentic AI, Multi-Agent Systems, RAG, Knowledge Graphs, or LLM applications.
• Experience with Azure AI, Databricks, OpenAI, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, CrewAI, AutoGen, vector databases, and cloud-native architectures.
• Track record of delivering enterprise-scale AI products from concept through production.
