Manager, Data Scientist (Agentic AI)

Salary: $176,000–$242,000 per year, plus potential bonus and stock awards.

What you will do

• Lead the architecture, design, implementation, and deployment of Agentic AI and multi-agent systems for business and manufacturing challenges.
• Build AI agents for decision intelligence, workflow automation, knowledge retrieval, operational optimization, and domain-specific copilots.
• Develop scalable enterprise AI platforms using Azure AI, Databricks, Python, vector databases, graph databases, and cloud-native technologies.
• Design agent orchestration, memory management, tool integration, RAG pipelines, knowledge graphs, semantic layers, and enterprise ontologies.
• Establish practices for LLMOps, AI governance, evaluation, observability, security, safety, prompt engineering, context engineering, and model optimization.
• Mentor AI engineers and data scientists while contributing to coding, architecture reviews, solution design, model development, and technical problem solving.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.
• Recognized technical expertise in Generative AI, Agentic AI, multi-agent architectures, and enterprise AI platforms.
• Deep knowledge of LLMs, RAG, vector databases, knowledge graphs, AI orchestration frameworks, machine learning, and cloud-native architectures.
• Strong hands-on software engineering skills with Python and modern AI development frameworks.
• Experience leading complex AI transformation initiatives, cross-functional teams, technical direction, architecture standards, and AI governance.
• Position based in Austin, Texas, United States; travel is required approximately 20% of the time.

Nice to have

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering, data science, machine learning, or AI.
• 3+ years building production-grade AI/ML solutions with Python.
• 3+ years developing Generative AI, Agentic AI, multi-agent systems, RAG, knowledge graphs, or LLM applications.
• Experience with Azure AI, Databricks, OpenAI, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, CrewAI, AutoGen, vector databases, and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience delivering enterprise-scale AI products from concept through production.
