Senior Director, Operations (Manufacturing)

Salary: $180,000–$247,500 per year

What you will do

• Lead advanced manufacturing operations and production facilities.
• Own end-to-end manufacturing performance across safety, quality, delivery, inventory, cost, and customer satisfaction.
• Drive operational transformation through automation, digital manufacturing, advanced analytics, artificial intelligence applications, and smart factory initiatives.
• Develop manufacturing strategies for business growth, capacity expansion, and future technology roadmaps.
• Lead supplier quality, material qualification, process control, production planning, and continuous improvement programs.
• Build organizational capability through leadership development, coaching, succession planning, and talent management.

Requirements

• 15+ years of manufacturing leadership experience in advanced manufacturing, engineered materials, industrial technology, precision manufacturing, or a related industry.
• 8+ years leading large-scale, multi-site, or highly complex manufacturing organizations.
• Experience with controlled production processes, quality systems, production scalability, and operational excellence.
• Experience implementing automation, digital transformation, data-driven decision-making, and advanced manufacturing technologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Materials Science, Operations Management, or a related technical discipline.
• Strong financial, operational, and strategic leadership capabilities.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree and/or MBA.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, throughput optimization, and yield improvement.
