What you will do

• Administer and support production storage systems, servers, software, and devices.
• Create, destroy, allocate, and de-allocate LUNs using SAN management software.
• Configure SAN fabric director and switch zoning for servers and storage devices.
• Design consolidated storage environments, perform capacity planning, and support related budget planning.
• Troubleshoot storage device and server connectivity issues and maintain technical documentation.
• Manage storage-related database environments and ensure compliance with banking regulations and internal policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology and 7 years of related experience, or a high school diploma with 10 years of directly related experience.
• At least 3 years of experience with enterprise storage technologies, including storage arrays, SAN software, virtualization, fabric architecture, Fibre Channel switches, HBA utilities, NAS, network file serving, and iFCP.
• At least 2 years of experience with Microsoft Windows enterprise operating systems.
• Experience with LAN/WAN/SAN technologies, networking principles, IP communication, the OSI model, packet structure, load balancing, security models, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of backup, recovery, disaster recovery, replication, snapshots, RAID, data movement software, enterprise tape libraries, and data retention practices and laws.
• Ability to provide after-hours and 24/7 pager support for production outages. Overnight travel may be required for approximately 10% of the month.

• EMC Proven Professional certification.
• MCSE certification.
