What you will do
- Deploy, administer, and support enterprise NAS devices and backup infrastructure, including tape libraries, disk libraries, and backup software.
- Manage and optimize a multi-petabyte, multi-vendor storage environment using Pure Storage, NetApp, VAST, and Commvault.
- Monitor system health and performance, troubleshoot incidents, and initiate corrective actions.
- Automate daily tasks and operations across multiple storage platforms.
- Create technical documentation, transfer knowledge, and participate in systems administration across compute and storage platforms.
- Support storage requirements for business units operating in new APAC jurisdictions.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in NAS storage and backup administration.
- Enterprise Linux and Windows administration skills, including storage integration and support for both operating systems.
- Understanding of TCP/IP, operating system theory, distributed computing, DNS, NFS, web-based application architectures, and traditional application architectures.
- Experience integrating storage with VMware, Citrix Xen, and Hyper-V.
- Proficiency with Commvault backup, archive management, and configuration.
- Knowledge of Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Group Policy, relational databases, and conventional database technologies including MySQL, SQL Server, and Oracle.

- Automation and scripting experience, particularly with Ansible.
- Technical discipline or equivalent industry experience.
