What you will do

• Perform vascular sonography and diagnostic imaging procedures according to clinical standards and organizational policies.
• Review patient histories and physician orders, explain procedures, and prepare patients and equipment.
• Position patients, select imaging parameters, perform scans, and transmit results.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to changes as appropriate.
• Evaluate image quality, repeat or adjust procedures when needed, and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Prepare and administer contrast media or medications when ordered and within scope of practice.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited ultrasound sonography program.
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer with one RDMS credential within three months of graduation; new graduates may provide a Certificate of Completion from the college.
• Basic Life Support certification for healthcare providers.
• Ability to perform vascular sonography, follow imaging safety standards, and complete equipment quality-control procedures.
• Successful completion of a background check is required for newly hired team members and certain internal transfers.
