Equipment and Manufacturing Technician (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Salary: $32.50–$44.60 per hour

What you will do

• Build, repair, and test electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, and pneumatic assemblies, subassemblies, and components.
• Perform electro-mechanical assembly, troubleshooting, repairs, and software installation or programming as needed.
• Use test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors, and vacuum pumps to validate equipment and components.
• Inspect incoming parts, audit availability and defects, document production data, and verify completed work against specifications.
• Collaborate with engineering on procedures, new product integration, manufacturing design, quality issues, and process improvements.
• Train junior manufacturing technicians and assemblers and support daily production resource planning.

Requirements

• Associate's degree.
• 7–10 years of relevant experience and comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures.
• Advanced troubleshooting capability and experience resolving quality issues.
• Ability to read work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, engineering specifications, parts lists, and wire lists.
• Ability to work onsite in a cleanroom environment and use required personal protective equipment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, bend, climb stairs and ladders, work in tight spaces, distinguish colors, use hand and power tools, and operate forklifts or other heavy machinery.
