Senior Manager, Category Management and Sourcing

What you will do

• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives and develop category management strategies for key procurement categories.
• Manage the end-to-end sourcing process, including supplier identification, RFP development, bid evaluation, negotiation, and contract award.
• Lead cross-functional teams in market analysis and sourcing planning aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Build strategic supplier relationships and monitor performance against KPIs, implementing corrective actions when needed.
• Develop procurement and vendor management policies, procedures, and controls.
• Direct, coordinate, evaluate, and mentor procurement team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, supply chain management, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• At least 8 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or vendor management, including people leadership.
• Strong knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and regulations, particularly in financial services.
• Proven experience developing and executing category management strategies that deliver cost savings and value.
• Strong negotiation, contract management, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to work under stress, meet deadlines, and lift or carry approximately 20 pounds when required.
