Associate Category Manager

Location: Davidson, North Carolina, United States; onsite Monday through Thursday, with a flexible work location on Fridays

Salary: $72,611.66–$101,394.99 annual base salary

What you will do

• Manage a segment of the Diversified Components category within the North America region.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, quality, and other stakeholders to capture category requirements and ensure supplier qualification and quality.
• Partner with Procurement teams on supplier transitions and support preferred supplier programs for new product development.
• Support negotiations and supplier selection while managing contract lifecycle and compliance.
• Deliver category productivity through pricing, value analysis, and continuous improvement projects.
• Support supplier segmentation, relationship management, quarterly reviews, supplier profiling, and risk mitigation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of procurement or sourcing experience, including consulting, purchasing, buyer, or analyst experience.
• Ability to assess vendors and demonstrated negotiation skills.
• Experience facilitating discussions and resolving conflicts.
• Strong professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work onsite Monday through Thursday in Davidson, North Carolina.
