TL;DR
Field Service Engineer (Industrial Marking Equipment): Installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial coding and marking equipment for manufacturing customers with an accent on preventive maintenance, onsite service, and mechanical bracket design. Focus on responding to service requests, supporting equipment demonstrations, training end users, and managing customer follow-up.

Location: Gwangmyeong, South Korea, serving the Capital region. The branch is located in Daejeon, with a laboratory at Gwangmyeong Station GIDC and headquarters in Seoul's Mapo-gu Sangam-dong.

What you will do

  • Perform preventive maintenance under customer service contracts.
  • Respond to onsite service requests and troubleshoot and repair inkjet, laser, TTO, LCM, and other Videojet equipment.
  • Install new equipment and prepare equipment for demonstrations and sales support.
  • Provide technical advice, customer service, basic user training, and maintenance guidance.
  • Manage customer inquiries, follow up on service needs, and relay local market feedback to the SEA marketing team.
  • Support marking-machine installations, including requests for designing and producing brackets and fixtures.

Requirements

  • Technical qualification equivalent to an NTC or diploma.
  • 2–3 years of industrial equipment repair experience, preferably in manufacturing or factory-automation environments.
  • Experience with service-contract sales, equipment supplies, and customers in manufacturing industries.
  • Experience designing mechanical components such as brackets and fixtures.
  • Strong planning, organization, communication, customer service, troubleshooting, and follow-up skills.
  • Valid driver's license required.

Nice to have

  • Bilingual Korean and English communication ability.
  • Experience with food, beverage, pharmaceutical, household, extrusion, wire and cable, or automotive equipment.
