Software Architect (Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Define and maintain the architectural vision for the Hybrid Array project.
• Design scalable, secure, and maintainable distributed system components, interfaces, data flows, and integration points.
• Guide engineers through architectural decisions, trade-offs, design reviews, and code reviews in a non-managerial technical leadership role.
• Analyze and troubleshoot complex design and performance issues and provide hands-on support to implementation teams.
• Collaborate with product management, software, hardware, algorithms, firmware, systems engineering, and field teams.
• Evaluate technologies and contribute to engineering and architecture standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 5–7+ years of software development and system or architecture design experience.
• Hands-on coding experience with Java, C#, Python, or similar languages.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, scalability, maintainability, and software security.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and modern DevOps practices.
• Demonstrated technical leadership, analytical ability, and clear communication of architectural decisions.

Nice to have

• Experience with hardware integration or image-processing pipelines.
• Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, or container-orchestration environments.
• Experience in semiconductor, inspection, metrology, or other high-throughput industrial systems.
• Data-driven decision-making experience.
