AWS DevOps Architect

What you will do

• Design and architect end-to-end AWS cloud solutions aligned with business and technical requirements.
• Lead DevOps strategy across infrastructure, deployment, automation, and operations.
• Design and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
• Architect and support production Kubernetes and Amazon EKS environments, including workload design, service interactions, scaling, and autoscaling.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and release automation using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline, or similar tools.
• Establish secure, highly available, cost-efficient cloud environments with monitoring, logging, alerting, and incident response practices.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, infrastructure engineering, or cloud architecture.
• Strong production experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, and Linux.
• Deep knowledge of Kubernetes components, deployments, services, ingress, ConfigMaps, Secrets, pod lifecycle, HPA, VPA, and Cluster Autoscaler.
• Extensive experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, Route 53, EKS, ECS, Lambda, CloudWatch, ELB, RDS, DynamoDB, SQS, and SNS.
• Strong experience with Terraform or CloudFormation, CI/CD, scripting, networking, automation, and AWS security and identity/access management.
• Experience designing end-to-end cloud architectures, explaining technical decisions, troubleshooting complex environments, and working with stakeholders.

Nice to have

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional certification.
• Experience with microservices, distributed systems, enterprise-scale multi-account AWS environments, or landing zones.
• Knowledge of Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, Splunk, Istio, Linkerd, or other service mesh technologies.
• Programming or scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience in compliance-driven or highly regulated environments.
