Software Engineer (Sports Analytics)

What you will do

• Design and architect complex server-side systems and software solutions from scratch.
• Build an order-sending system for trading across multiple sports leagues and exchanges.
• Develop high-performance streaming systems and integrate reference-file and streaming data feeds from multiple vendors.
• Develop data-recording and price-evaluation tools for sports trading.
• Collaborate with quantitative researchers, developers, business users, and stakeholders.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including building, testing, and production deployment.

Requirements

• Proven experience in server-side software development, system design, and technical event-driven architecture.
• Consistent career progression developing data-focused, high-performance streaming systems.
• Strong proficiency in C# and previous experience with Python.
• Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
• BS or MS degree in Computer Science or a related STEM field, or equivalent practical experience at a senior level.
• Self-motivation, attention to detail, adaptability, and strong communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kafka, Kubernetes, and cloud computing.
• Previous experience in trading, sports analytics, or sports wagering.
• Interest in sports wagering, trading, and technology.
