What you will do

• Implement and maintain runtime environments for AWS Lambda across multiple languages including Python, Node.js, Java, .NET, Ruby, Go, and Rust.
• Engage with upstream open-source communities to align runtime development with language advancements.
• Design and architect scalable, reliable systems to handle trillions of monthly invocations.
• Manage security updates and dependencies while balancing customer disruption risks.
• Debug and profile complex technical systems from the OS level up through custom applications.

Requirements

• Must be based in Dublin, Ireland
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field.
• Professional software development experience within the last 3 years.
• Strong programming proficiency in at least two of the following: Java, Python, Node.js, Go, or Rust.
• Proven track record of meaningful contributions to established open-source projects.
• Experience designing or architecting large-scale systems with a focus on reliability and performance.
