Sr. AI Transformation Engineer

Location: San Jose, United States. Hybrid work is generally expected in the office Monday through Thursday, with Fridays generally flexible for remote work.

Salary: $242,200–$486,000 annual base salary for California.

What you will do

• Drive AI deployments from opportunity discovery and scoping through system design, development, testing, production rollout, and adoption.
• Embed with business and technical teams to identify high-value opportunities for agentic automation.
• Design and build production-grade agentic AI applications, integrations, and reusable platform patterns.
• Connect AI solutions to data platforms, internal systems, enterprise APIs, pipelines, and metric layers.
• Lead onboarding, enablement, change management, and feedback cycles to achieve trusted user adoption.
• Define measurable business impact and mentor teammates across functions and initiatives.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering, full-stack engineering, or technical deployment experience shipping production systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Production-grade coding skills in Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience building or deploying LLM-, generative-model-, or agentic-framework-powered systems.
• Experience with RAG, prompt engineering, agent orchestration, tool use, human-in-the-loop controls, model evaluation, and MLOps/LLMOps.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP; Docker/Kubernetes; CI/CD; modern data architectures; and relational databases.
