C# Developer - Risk (C#/real-time trading systems): Building and supporting high-performance real-time risk systems for trading desks, Compliance, and executive leadership with an accent on scalability, reliability, distributed systems, and real-time messaging. Focus on designing market risk tools, tuning multithreaded applications, integrating pricing and market data, and delivering production systems across the full development lifecycle.

What you will do
- Develop scalable, high-performance real-time risk systems used across trading desks, asset classes, and global markets.
- Build tools that provide insights into risk, limits, counterparty exposure, P&L, and related trading metrics.
- Partner with traders, Compliance, and engineering colleagues to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
- Work across pricing, market data, scenarios, and risk metrics for multiple financial products.
- Contribute across the full development lifecycle, including system design, deployment, production support, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in C# and object-oriented design.
- Experience developing both server-side and desktop applications, including WPF or WinForms.
- Experience with multithreading, performance tuning, and real-time messaging technologies.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills when working with traders, Compliance, and engineering peers.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
Nice to have
- Experience with risk or trading systems, including derivative pricing, P&L, or Greeks.
- Familiarity with Tibco RV or similar real-time messaging middleware.
- Exposure to Agile methodologies and continuous improvement in software delivery.
