Principal C#/.NET Consultant (Financial Services)

What you will do

• Build testable and robust C#/.NET microservices using cloud, containerization, messaging, and modern engineering practices.
• Contribute to software and architectural design for commercial-grade applications.
• Develop software from user stories within an Agile/Scrum team and deliver work during sprint cycles.
• Own applications and provide support when required.
• Work directly with clients in interactive, project-based engagements.
• Collaborate with colleagues, share knowledge, and maintain a high standard of code quality.

Requirements

• 10+ years of hands-on C#/.NET development experience.
• 10+ years of SQL experience and 10+ years working with multi-tier architectures.
• Fluency with modern C# and its functional features.
• Strong understanding of software design and development methodologies.
• Deep knowledge of multithreading and real-time software architectures.
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with modern front-end web technologies.
• Knowledge of and demonstrated interest in global financial markets and financial products.
