Merchant Services Sales Specialist

What you will do

• Market and sell merchant services, core banking products, and business management applications.
• Develop new business through prospecting, cold calling, referrals, and consultative selling.
• Partner with Retail, Business, and Commercial Banking teams to source referrals, prepare proposals, and deliver presentations.
• Manage moderate-complexity merchant accounts and provide support to clients and internal partners.
• Maintain knowledge of payment technology, pricing models, and compliance requirements.
• Use CRM and reporting tools to manage the pipeline, forecast revenue, and track engagement.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
• 5+ years of banking or financial services experience required.
• Merchant services or card payments experience is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated success in meeting sales and revenue goals.
• Strong consultative sales, communication, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems; ability to travel when required.
