Compensation Analyst

What you will do

• Analyze salary survey and market benchmarking data with guidance from senior team members.
• Prepare compensation datasets, identify trends, summarize findings, and conduct supporting labor market research.
• Standardize job titles, levels, job families, and role classifications across professional, campus, and intern populations.
• Clean, organize, and convert unstructured recruiting and role information into structured datasets.
• Perform data quality checks and maintain documentation of data sources and methodologies.
• Support research projects on emerging roles, labor markets, and compensation trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Economics, Statistics, HR, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in data, analytics, HR, or research-focused work.
• Strong attention to detail and comfort working with messy or incomplete data.
• Basic proficiency in Excel; exposure to SQL, Python, or R is a plus.
• Ability to follow defined processes while asking thoughtful questions.
• Coursework or internships in HR analytics, compensation, economics, or labor markets.

Nice to have

• Exposure to recruiting or HR systems such as ATS or HRIS.
• Familiarity with data cleaning, basic automation, or web scraping concepts.
• Interest in global workforce trends and job design.
