What you will do

  • Design simulation environments that blend generative rollouts with physics-engine scenes.
  • Build evaluation harnesses to measure sim-to-real gaps, physical consistency, and long-horizon coherence.
  • Develop differentiable and GPU-accelerated simulation pipelines to unlock new training signals.
  • Drive asset, scene, and task generation pipelines using hirify.global's generative stack.
  • Collaborate with world-model and policy-learning research teams.

Requirements

  • Strong background in robotics simulation, computer graphics, physics-based modeling, or generative 3D.
  • Fluency in Python and C++.
  • Deep familiarity with at least one production physics engine such as Isaac Sim/Lab, MuJoCo, Bullet, PhysX, or Drake.
  • Proven track record of building simulation systems used by others.
  • Ability to work on-site in Redwood City, CA.

Nice to have

  • Research experience in sim-to-real transfer, domain randomization, or neural-rendering-based simulation.
  • Background in game engines, CGI, animation, or photogrammetry.
  • Publications at top venues like CoRL, RSS, ICRA, NeurIPS, or SIGGRAPH.
