Security Engineer (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Engineer and implement authentication and privileged access controls.
• Harden endpoints and applications and implement threat prevention controls.
• Design and manage the firm's cloud security posture.
• Deliver new implementations, upgrades, and custom automation across the technology organization.
• Triage and resolve connectivity issues involving firewalls and proxies, and support bespoke technical solutions.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, project management, strategy, business, and other technical teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field; equivalent practical experience may be considered.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in security engineering or operational security.
• Demonstrated expertise in endpoint security and hardening, IAM/PAM, cloud and edge security, and related technical controls.
• Understanding of operating system internals and hardening.
• Experience with scripting or automation using Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar languages.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, routing, and switching, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues across distributed environments.
