What you will do

• Grow and deepen relationships with existing and new small business clients, typically companies with $1–$5 million in annual revenue.
• Generate new deposits and loan business through regular outreach, client meetings, outbound calls, and community visits.
• Recommend deposit, treasury, credit, consumer, and small business banking solutions aligned with client needs.
• Plan portfolio growth in line with departmental budgets and bank asset/liability objectives.
• Coordinate with internal business partners and communicate lending decisions to clients.
• Review deposit profitability, maintain borrower financial information, and follow up on loan exceptions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience.
• 4–6 years of experience as a Business Banker.
• At least 3 years of experience negotiating and structuring commercial loans.
• Proven ability to meet sales goals involving credit products and internal referrals.
• Advanced knowledge of retail, small business, and banking products and strategies.
• Experience with financial accounting and analysis, client relationship development, community events, and Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
