Senior Manager, Staff Counsel - Western Region

Location: Hybrid in Boise, Idaho; must be commutable to a hirify.global site location.

Annual salary: $148,625–$231,650.

What you will do

• Manage staff counsel office activities across multiple Western-region states.
• Oversee the defense of liability and property damage lawsuits involving hirify.global insureds.
• Represent hirify.global in subrogation, uninsured motorist, and underinsured motorist matters.
• Research laws and prepare legal briefs, opinions, memoranda, pleadings, motions, and discovery materials.
• Lead, train, supervise, and evaluate attorneys and support staff, including overseeing trial and arbitration work.
• Review office performance metrics and implement improvements to reporting, productivity, resolution ratios, and subrogation results.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree required.
• Licensed and in good standing to practice law in applicable jurisdictions, with ongoing compliance with licensing and CLE requirements.
• Minimum 10 years of litigation experience, including insurance defense or personal injury.
• Experience managing a team of attorneys and support staff.
• Demonstrated success handling primary trial responsibility for significant and complex cases.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid arrangement, attend the business location, and travel for trials, hearings, depositions, meetings, and conferences.
