IT Systems & Compliance Manager

Location: Galway, Ireland; hybrid with onsite attendance required at least 3 days per week. Core hours are 10am to 4pm. Support is provided to the Galway office and remote colleagues across the UK and Europe.

What you will do

• Own the full lifecycle of Mac and Windows devices, including procurement, enrolment, configuration, deployment, support, reclamation, and secure disposal.
• Manage identity and access across Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Slack, Atlassian, and internal tools.
• Design and operate documented joiner-mover-leaver processes using HiBob as the source of truth.
• Deliver IT and endpoint controls for ISO 27001 Stage 1 and Stage 2 audits, including asset inventories, access registers, policies, evidence, and internal audit support.
• Manage endpoint security, software licences, supplier relationships, renewals, IT spend visibility, and vendor risk for IT, SaaS, and AI tooling.
• Run the service desk, create knowledge-base documentation and runbooks, and automate first-line triage using the existing Claude support agent.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience managing mixed Mac and Windows device fleets.
• Experience with Mosyle, Apple Business Manager, Automated Device Enrolment, Microsoft Intune, Entra ID, Autopilot, BitLocker, and LAPS.
• Experience administering Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, Atlassian, and access-control systems.
• Practical experience with endpoint security, asset management, software licensing, vendor management, and service-desk operations.
• Ability to build documented access, security, disposal, backup, acceptable-use, and mobile-device policies and maintain audit-ready evidence.
• Ability to work onsite in Galway at least 3 days per week for device setup, troubleshooting, onboarding, offboarding, and direct employee support.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting ISO 27001 certification, external consultants, certification bodies, internal audits, and penetration testing.
• Experience automating IT support and first-line request triage with AI tooling.
