What you will do

• Develop and enhance low-latency, high-frequency exchange connectivity applications.
• Design, implement, test, and deploy complex software systems to production.
• Lead a team of highly technical software engineers and manage projects from requirements gathering through delivery.
• Build scalable and highly performant systems in partnership with Trading, Quantitative Research, Infrastructure, and Strategy Developer teams.
• Support systems that process large volumes of trading data while maintaining performance and stability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical or related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience as a technology team lead.
• At least 3 years of team-lead experience in the financial markets industry.
• At least 10 years of experience designing and developing object-oriented C++ applications on Linux.
• Experience with design, profiling, performance tuning, generic programming, STL, Boost, sockets, multithreading, and IPC.
• Knowledge of financial products, exchange connectivity, and market data, plus strong collaboration, communication, and decision-making skills.
