Core Engineering Manager, C++ (Cryptocurrency)

What you will do

• Design and architect a high-frequency trading platform for cryptocurrency markets.
• Build connectivity for collecting market data and disseminating orders across global exchanges.
• Manage and mentor a distributed team of developers across multiple regions.
• Partner with traders, business management, and stakeholders to prioritize projects and deliver business-critical solutions.
• Optimize latency through network programming, systems programming, and other advanced techniques.
• Develop systems for historical market data access and trading simulations.

Requirements

• Degree in computer science or a related field.
• At least 10 years of C++ development experience, preferably in a trading environment.
• Experience leading and mentoring software development teams, including distributed or global teams.
• Ability to design and deliver complex, high-performance software systems.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming in C++.
• Strong business English communication skills required.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with cryptocurrency markets, WebSocket/HTTP exchange APIs, and cloud technologies.
• Knowledge of Linux, TCP/IP, UDP, Python, and shell scripting.
• Mandarin communication skills.
