Core Engineering Manager (C++)

What you will do

• Design and architect a high-frequency trading platform for cryptocurrency markets.
• Build connectivity for collecting quotes and trades from exchanges and disseminating orders globally.
• Manage and mentor a distributed team of developers across multiple regions.
• Collaborate with traders, business management, and stakeholders to prioritize projects and deliver business-critical solutions.
• Optimize trading systems using network and systems programming and other low-latency techniques.
• Develop systems for historical market data access and trading simulations.

Requirements

• Degree in computer science or a related field.
• At least 10 years of C++ development experience, preferably in a trading environment.
• Experience leading and mentoring software development teams, including distributed or global teams.
• Ability to design and deliver complex, high-performance software systems.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming in C++.
• Strong business English communication skills are required.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with cryptocurrency markets, exchange APIs using WebSocket and HTTP, and cloud technologies.
• Understanding of Linux, networking, TCP/IP, and UDP.
• Knowledge of Python and shell scripting.
• Mandarin communication skills.
