SW Tech Lead (C++/C#)

What you will do

• Lead the software team developing current and future generations of semiconductor metrology products.
• Develop software hands-on using C++ or C#, object-oriented design, and scripting in Windows and Linux environments.
• Define requirements, design, code, integrate, release, and support software throughout the development lifecycle.
• Build short- and long-term work plans with project managers, system engineers, algorithm engineers, and application engineers.
• Own assigned design and development tasks and drive software quality and modern development practices.
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, optical, algorithm, system, and application engineering teams to enhance system capabilities and troubleshoot complex issues.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a technical lead role and in large multidisciplinary systems with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong software design skills for scalable, maintainable, and modular systems.
• Deep understanding of object-oriented programming and operating system concepts, including threads, synchronization, memory, and inter-process communication.
• Proficiency in C++ or C# and strong hands-on experience with Linux environments.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to drive technical decisions across teams.

Nice to have

• Experience working close to hardware or with real-time systems.
• Strong multithreading and concurrency experience.
• Experience with AI tools, including Claude Code.
• Experience integrating systems and debugging complex cross-component issues.
• Experience with code reviews, testing, and CI/CD.
