Equity Research Sales Associate (AI)

Location: New York, New York, United States; onsite on the NYC Trading Floor

Annual base pay: $110,000–$120,000 plus discretionary bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Market fundamental equity research and derivatives content through sales calls, conferences, analyst meetings, and events.
• Coordinate with Research, Derivatives, Market Intelligence, Corporate Access, Sales-Trading, and Trading teams to address client requests.
• Support the origination and onboarding of new equity and derivatives accounts.
• Interact with company management, institutional investors, senior salespeople, analysts, corporate access teams, and traders.
• Lead projects that improve team efficiency and streamline workflows.
• Identify and implement Agentic AI solutions to improve daily processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related area is preferred but not required.
• 0–3 years of professional experience; 1–3 years in Finance or Sales is preferred.
• Strong communication, quantitative, analytical, research, writing, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Passion for financial markets, derivatives, and equities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Experience with or willingness to learn Agentic AI applications for workflow optimization.
• Interest in beginning the CFA curriculum.
