Associate, Financial Advisor, Boston, MA (Fintech)

Location: Boston, United States. The role involves in-person, virtual, and telephone client appointments.

Base pay: $61,875–$105,000 annualized.

What you will do

• Identify clients’ financial needs and recommend suitable investment and insurance solutions.
• Manage and grow an assigned client portfolio through ongoing financial guidance and relationship development.
• Achieve investment sales, revenue, and client engagement objectives.
• Collaborate with branch managers, field advisors, and licensed bank employees to generate referrals and support branch investment growth.
• Coach branch partners on products, referrals, and client engagement.
• Maintain accurate records, reporting, regulatory training, licenses, and continuing education requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in finance, economics, management information systems, statistics, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of demonstrated sales achievement with high ethical standards.
• At least 1 year of experience providing investment guidance and advice to clients.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, written, relationship management, negotiation, financial analysis, and risk evaluation skills.
• FINRA Series 7 and Series 66, or Series 63 and 65, plus appropriate state insurance licenses.
• Must be legally authorized to work full time in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in finance, economics, management information systems, statistics, or a related field.
• Additional experience or education demonstrating an established work history.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products.
